Return & Refund Policy

At TN Tinkering LLC, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with an eligible physical product, we offer a 14-day return policy subject to the terms below.

Because digital products are delivered electronically and cannot be physically returned, digital download products are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in the limited circumstances described in this policy.

1. 14-Day Returns for Physical Products

You may request a return for an eligible physical product within 14 calendar days of the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The return request must be made within 14 days of delivery.
  • The item must be unused and in its original condition.
  • The item must be returned with its original packaging, when applicable.
  • The product must not have been damaged, altered, assembled, painted, customized, or otherwise modified after delivery.
  • Proof of purchase or an order number may be required.

Items that do not meet these conditions may not be eligible for a refund.

2. Digital Download Products

TN Tinkering LLC may offer digital products such as downloadable patterns, templates, instructions, files, artwork, plans, designs, or other digital content.

All digital download products are non-returnable and non-refundable once the digital product has been purchased and made available for download.

Because digital products cannot be physically returned and may be copied or retained after delivery, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds simply because you:

  • Changed your mind
  • No longer want the product
  • Purchased the wrong product
  • Purchased the wrong size or design
  • Decided not to use the file
  • Were unable to use the file because of incompatible software, equipment, or materials
  • Accidentally purchased the product

Please carefully review the product description, photos, specifications, included files, and compatibility information before purchasing a digital product.

3. Exceptions for Defective or Incorrect Digital Downloads

Although digital downloads are non-returnable and non-refundable, TN Tinkering LLC will work with you if there is a genuine problem with a digital product we provided.

You may contact us if:

  • The download link does not work.
  • The purchased file is missing.
  • The file is corrupted or cannot reasonably be opened.
  • The downloaded file is materially different from the product description.
  • The wrong digital product was provided.
  • A required file included in the product description was accidentally omitted.
  • The digital product contains a significant technical defect that prevents reasonable use of the product as described.

At our discretion, TN Tinkering LLC may provide:

  • A replacement download
  • A corrected file
  • A new download link
  • The missing file
  • A refund of the purchase price

We may request information, screenshots, or other documentation that helps us identify and resolve the problem.

4. Digital Download Compatibility

Before purchasing a digital product, customers are responsible for reviewing the product listing for information about:

  • File types
  • Compatible software
  • Compatible cutting machines or equipment
  • Recommended materials
  • Required software or applications
  • Printer requirements
  • Other technical requirements

TN Tinkering LLC is not responsible for compatibility issues caused by a customer's particular computer, software, cutting machine, printer, operating system, equipment, materials, or other hardware or software that is not identified as compatible in the product listing.

If you are unsure whether a digital product will work with your equipment or software, please contact us before purchasing.

5. How to Request a Return or Digital Product Assistance

To request a return for a physical product or assistance with a digital download, please contact TN Tinkering LLC through our Website.

Please provide:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • Product name
  • Reason for the return or request
  • Description of the problem
  • Photographs or screenshots, when applicable

For digital products, please do not send a return shipment. We will work with you electronically to resolve the issue.

For physical products, do not send an item back before receiving return instructions from us.

6. Return Shipping for Physical Products

Unless the item was received damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from what was ordered, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

We recommend using a shipping service that provides tracking and retaining your shipping receipt.

TN Tinkering LLC is not responsible for physical products lost or damaged while being returned to us.

If the return is due to an error by TN Tinkering LLC, such as sending the wrong product or an item that arrived damaged or defective, TN Tinkering LLC may provide a return shipping solution or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.

Return shipping does not apply to digital download products.

7. Refunds for Physical Products

Once we receive and inspect an approved physical-product return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Refunds may include the purchase price of the returned product and applicable taxes.

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or when the return is the result of an error on our part.

Your financial institution or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account after we process it.

8. Refunds for Digital Products

Digital download products are not eligible for refunds after purchase and delivery, except when TN Tinkering LLC determines that the digital product is defective, corrupted, incomplete, incorrectly delivered, or materially different from the product described.

When a refund for a digital product is approved, the refund will generally be issued to the original payment method.

If a replacement file or corrected download resolves the issue, a refund may not be necessary.

9. Damaged or Defective Physical Products

Please contact us as soon as possible if your physical order arrives:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Incomplete
  • Incorrect
  • With missing components

We may request photographs or other information to help determine the appropriate resolution.

If an item was damaged during shipping, please retain the original packaging and shipping materials until the matter has been resolved.

Depending on the circumstances, TN Tinkering LLC may offer:

  • A replacement
  • A replacement part
  • A refund
  • Store credit
  • Another appropriate resolution

10. Incorrect Physical Products

If TN Tinkering LLC accidentally sends you the wrong physical product, please contact us before returning the item.

We will work with you to arrange the appropriate return or replacement.

When the incorrect item was sent due to an error by TN Tinkering LLC, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

11. Customized or Personalized Products

Because customized or personalized products are made specifically for the customer, they may not be eligible for return or refund due to a change of mind or ordering error, unless required by applicable law.

If a customized or personalized item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us so we can determine an appropriate resolution.

12. Assembled, Painted, or Modified Products

Products that have been assembled, painted, decorated, modified, altered, or otherwise used after delivery generally cannot be returned under our standard 14-day return policy.

This includes DIY products that have been:

  • Assembled
  • Painted
  • Glued
  • Cut
  • Modified
  • Decorated
  • Permanently altered

This restriction does not affect your rights regarding products that are defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.

13. Non-Returnable Products

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the following products are generally not eligible for return:

  • Digital download products
  • Customized or personalized products
  • Products that have been assembled
  • Products that have been painted or decorated
  • Products that have been permanently modified
  • Products damaged after delivery due to customer use or modification
  • Physical products returned after the 14-day return period

Digital products are non-returnable because they are electronically delivered and cannot be physically returned.

14. Exchanges

We may offer exchanges for damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped physical products.

For standard physical-product returns, we generally process the return and refund rather than automatically exchanging the item.

Digital download products generally cannot be exchanged. If a digital file is defective, incomplete, corrupted, or incorrectly delivered, we will work with you to provide a corrected or replacement file when appropriate.

15. Sale and Clearance Items

Sale and clearance physical products are subject to the same 14-day return period unless the product listing specifically states that the item is final sale.

Products identified as final sale are not eligible for return or refund except where required by applicable law.

Digital download products remain non-returnable and non-refundable regardless of whether they are offered at full price, sale price, or promotional pricing, except for defective, corrupted, incomplete, or incorrectly delivered files as described in this policy.

16. Refund Processing

After an approved physical-product return has been received and inspected, TN Tinkering LLC will process the applicable refund.

Approved refunds for digital products will be processed after TN Tinkering LLC determines that the product qualifies for a refund under this policy.

Refunds are generally issued through the original payment method whenever possible.

TN Tinkering LLC uses third-party payment processors, including Stripe, to process payments.

Because payment processing and refunds are handled through third-party payment providers, the time required for a refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank, credit card company, or payment provider.

TN Tinkering LLC does not control the processing time of your financial institution.

17. Late Physical-Product Returns

Return requests for eligible physical products received more than 14 calendar days after delivery generally will not be accepted.

Exceptions may be made for damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped products or where required by applicable law.

The 14-day return period does not apply to digital download products because digital downloads are non-returnable and non-refundable after purchase and delivery, except as specifically provided in this policy.

18. Lost or Undelivered Physical Packages

If tracking indicates that a physical package was delivered but you cannot locate it, please contact us so we can help investigate the issue.

For packages that are lost in transit, TN Tinkering LLC may work with the shipping carrier to investigate the shipment.

A refund or replacement for a lost package may depend on the circumstances and the shipping carrier's determination.

This section does not apply to digital products.

If you purchased a digital product but did not receive the download or cannot access the download, please contact us so we can provide assistance.

19. Customer Responsibility for Digital Products

Digital products purchased from TN Tinkering LLC are provided for the purposes stated in the applicable product listing.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Downloading their purchased files
  • Maintaining backup copies of downloaded files
  • Using compatible software and equipment
  • Reviewing product requirements before purchase
  • Following applicable instructions for using the files

TN Tinkering LLC is not responsible for a customer's failure to download or retain a digital file after the download has been made available, except where required by applicable law.

If you experience a problem accessing a purchased digital product, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to assist you.

20. No Transfer of Digital Products

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable product listing, digital files purchased from TN Tinkering LLC are intended for the purchaser's personal use or the specific commercial-use rights stated in the product listing.

Purchasers may not resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, or otherwise make the original digital files available to others unless the applicable product listing expressly permits such use.

This Return & Refund Policy does not grant any additional intellectual-property or licensing rights.
